Compared with DELE A1, the CEFR band moves from A1 to A2, the paper runs 157 minutes instead of 105. On the paper itself, the longest writing task rises from 40 words to 80.

What DELE A2 asks of you
A full DELE A2 paper, rebuilt to the Instituto Cervantes structure: same pruebas, same tareas, same clock. Sections run one way, so once you submit one you are done with it.
- Reading pace
- 25 questions in 60 minutes for 25 of the 100 points. That is about 144 seconds a question.
- Listening
- 25 questions in 40 minutes for 25 of the 100 points, and each clip plays twice and never rewinds.
- Writing load
- 2 tasks in 45 minutes. Tarea 1 asks for 60 to 70 words, Tarea 2 for 70 to 80.
- Oral
- 3 tareas spoken with the examiner, about 12 minutes in all, for 25 of the 100 points.
- Pass rule
- 2 groups, each passed on its own: a strong group cannot carry a weak one. CEFR A2.

How you are scored
50 of the 100 points are marked the moment you finish, for free. The other 50 sit on 5 of the 55 questions: Written response ×2 for 25 points and Spoken response ×3 for 25 points. Those have to be read rather than matched against a key.

Your result comes back as APTO only when every group clears its line. Miss one and it is NO APTO, whatever the total. A group whose oral you have not sat is shown as not assessed, not as a fail.
