Compared with DELE A2, the CEFR band moves from A2 to B1, the paper runs 185 minutes instead of 157, it asks 66 questions and tasks instead of 55. On the paper itself, the tareas go from 13 to 16, the longest writing task rises from 80 words to 150.

What DELE B1 asks of you

A full DELE B1 paper, rebuilt to the Instituto Cervantes structure: same pruebas, same tareas, same clock. Sections run one way, so once you submit one you are done with it.

Reading pace: 30 questions in 70 minutes for 25 of the 100 points. That is about 140 seconds a question.
Listening: 30 questions in 40 minutes for 25 of the 100 points, and each clip plays twice and never rewinds.
Writing load: 2 tasks in 60 minutes. Tarea 1 asks for 100 to 120 words, Tarea 2 for 130 to 150.
Oral: 4 tareas spoken with the examiner, about 15 minutes in all, for 25 of the 100 points.
Pass rule: 2 groups, each passed on its own: a strong group cannot carry a weak one. CEFR B1.

How you are scored

50 of the 100 points are marked the moment you finish, for free. The other 50 sit on 6 of the 66 questions: Written response ×2 for 25 points and Spoken response ×4 for 25 points. Those have to be read rather than matched against a key.

Grupo 1 (Comprensión de lectura + Expresión e interacción escritas): Needs 30 of 50 points from these sections together.
Grupo 2 (Comprensión auditiva + Expresión e interacción orales): Needs 30 of 50 points from these sections together.

Your result comes back as APTO only when every group clears its line. Miss one and it is NO APTO, whatever the total. A group whose oral you have not sat is shown as not assessed, not as a fail.

Tarea 2: A three to four minute conversation with the interviewer on your first speaking topic.

A spoken conversation with an AI examiner, tarea by tarea, timed like the real oral and marked on the Instituto Cervantes band scale. Typing works as a fallback. Part of the With Speaking plan.
