Compared with DELE B1, the CEFR band moves from B1 to B2, the paper runs 210 minutes instead of 185, it asks 71 questions and tasks instead of 66. On the paper itself, the tareas go from 16 to 14, the longest writing task rises from 150 words to 180.

What DELE B2 asks of you

A full DELE B2 paper, rebuilt to the Instituto Cervantes structure: same pruebas, same tareas, same clock. Sections run one way, so once you submit one you are done with it.

Reading pace: 36 questions in 70 minutes for 25 of the 100 points. That is about 117 seconds a question.
Listening: 30 questions in 40 minutes for 25 of the 100 points, and each clip plays twice and never rewinds.
Writing load: 2 tasks in 80 minutes. Tarea 1 asks for 150 to 180 words, Tarea 2 for 150 to 180.
Oral: 3 tareas spoken with the examiner, about 20 minutes in all, for 25 of the 100 points.
Pass rule: 2 groups, each passed on its own: a strong group cannot carry a weak one. CEFR B2.

How you are scored

50 of the 100 points are marked the moment you finish, for free. The other 50 sit on 5 of the 71 questions: Written response ×2 for 25 points and Spoken response ×3 for 25 points. Those have to be read rather than matched against a key.

Grupo 1 (Comprensión de lectura + Expresión e interacción escritas): Needs 30 of 50 points from these sections together.
Grupo 2 (Comprensión auditiva + Expresión e interacción orales): Needs 30 of 50 points from these sections together.

Your result comes back as APTO only when every group clears its line. Miss one and it is NO APTO, whatever the total. A group whose oral you have not sat is shown as not assessed, not as a fail.
