Compared with DELE C1, the CEFR band moves from C1 to C2, the paper runs 275 minutes instead of 240, it asks 58 questions and tasks instead of 75. On the paper itself, the tareas go from 14 to 13, the longest writing task rises from 250 words to 450, the result is decided in 3 groups instead of 2.

What DELE C2 asks of you

A full DELE C2 paper, rebuilt to the Instituto Cervantes structure: same pruebas, same tareas, same clock. Sections run one way, so once you submit one you are done with it.

Reading pace: 26 questions in 60 minutes for 16.665 of the 100 points. That is about 138 seconds a question.
Listening: 26 questions in 45 minutes for 16.665 of the 100 points, and each clip plays twice and never rewinds.
Writing load: 3 tasks in 150 minutes. Tarea 1 asks for 400 to 450 words, Tarea 2 for 200 to 250, Tarea 3 for 200 to 250.
Oral: 3 tareas spoken with the examiner, about 20 minutes in all, for 33.34 of the 100 points.
Pass rule: 3 groups, each passed on its own: a strong group cannot carry a weak one. CEFR C2.

How you are scored

33 of the 100 points are marked the moment you finish, for free. The other 67 sit on 6 of the 58 questions: Written response ×3 for 33 points and Spoken response ×3 for 33 points. Those have to be read rather than matched against a key.

Your result comes back as APTO only when every group clears its line. Miss one and it is NO APTO, whatever the total. A group whose oral you have not sat is shown as not assessed, not as a fail.
